Of the three ways the school fundraises, this is the one campaign that we ask everyone to support each year. All gifts to Annual Giving are 100 percent tax-deductible. In addition to this federal deduction, there are a limited number of state tax credits available for gifts made to the Technology Fund. If you have any questions about the Annual Giving Campaign, please contact Kelly DeRossette.
Season Passes, Game Tickets, and Football Parking Passes can be purchased on the GoFan online portal. Purchasing instructions can be found here. If you have any questions, email Neil Weiner.
We do not have any job openings at this time. Please check back regularly, as we post new opportunities as they become available.
Middle and Upper School students who plan to participate in team sports next year must turn in the required athletic forms. Upper School athletes must submit both the Upper School LHSAA Packet (first-time participates only) and the Annual Dunham Athletics Medical Packet (sports physical required). Middle School athletes are only required to turn in the completed Annual Dunham Athletics Medical Packet (sports physical required). If you have any questions about Dunham Athletics, please contact Athletic Director Neil Weiner.

To begin the school year, all students in grades K-12 and all adults will be required to bring a face mask and wear it indoors during the school day. Students in the two-year-old program through PK4 are not required to wear face masks. Our school leadership team is committed to assessing the infection rates within the school community, and we fully anticipate lifting mask requirements if COVID-19 infection rates remain low. We will assess on a weekly basis beginning on August 13. Dunham reserves the right to reinstate face mask requirements as we deem them necessary to protect the students and faculty in our community. Students may not wear face shields, bandanas, neck gaiters, or face masks with valves. Parents and other visitors will be held to the same mask requirements of the school. Masks are not required outside.
Thanks to a partnership with Ochsner Medical Center, we have a full-time nurse on staff who oversees our health and wellness program. In compliance with current government HIPPA regulations, student medical records and medications are stored securely in the nurse's office. In addition, in compliance with Louisiana state law, all medications, including over-the-counter items such as Tylenol and Advil, must have a doctor's signature to be administered at school.
All new students are required to submit their immunization records along with the applicable forms noted below. When completed, health forms and immunization records should be sent to the student's division office via email or in a sealed envelope by July 31. If you have any questions, please contact your child's division office or our school nurse, Connie Jenkins.

Dear Dunham Community,
Based on Governor Edwards’ continuation of the stay-at-home order until May 15, and after numerous administration meetings and in consultation with the board of trustees, we have made the difficult decision to continue our distance learning model through the end of the school year. While we are disappointed that we can’t meet in person, our teachers, students, and parents continue to do an amazing job of delivering the best possible education during this time.
The start date for our summer programming is now scheduled for June 8. We are meeting with medical professionals and health experts to prepare our facilities and establish protocols to safely operate summer camp. We fully envision beginning school safely in August in face-to-face mode. We are also committed to ensuring that every family is able to return to The Dunham School, even if your personal circumstances may be uncertain. If you need help, please email me or Grady Hazel in the business office and let us know how we can assist you.
I want to thank our incredible teachers, technology staff, and division leaders. They have done a remarkable job in ensuring that Dunham families have had everything they needed to continue to operate our school at the highest level. Our staff and teachers miss our students and parents, and we can’t wait to see you again very soon—at end-of-year activities, over the summer, or as we are released from quarantine and are able to gather together safely.
I challenged the senior class to view this personal trial and stressful time as one that is building their character and preparing them for something greater. I firmly believe that God will bring our seniors and our entire school through this time as a stronger, more close-knit community of faith that continues to set the bar for Christian education in the city of Baton Rouge and across the country.
We’ve already seen the generosity of our families in providing for those who are in need of fiscal support during this time. On behalf of our entire board of trustees, faculty, staff, and administration, thank you for your prayers and your support. We look forward to serving your educational needs through the end of the school year, over the summer, and face-to-face in the new school year.
As always, may God bless you. Stay safe, and we will see you soon!
In Christ,
Steven A. Eagleton
Head of School
The cast and crew of Willy Wonka Jr. took us to a world of pure imagination as everyone's favorite candy-maker led a colorful cast of characters in this delightful stage adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The Upper School production of James and the Giant Peach, was performed in October on the main stage in the Brown-Holt Chapel Arts Center. Roald Dahl's classic story came to life in this delightful dramatization that reveals the wickedness of some, the goodness of others, and the indecision encountered by many when they are faced with crises.
At Dunham, you’ll find intentionally small classes, where a blend of traditional and innovative teaching is combined with the latest technology to ignite creativity and intellectual curiosity. You’ll discover expert teachers who treasure each child as the individual he or she was created to be and challenging academic, athletic, arts, and leadership programs designed to enable students to meet their God-given potential now and in the future.
We are eager to explore the possibility of your family joining the Dunham community. Our office would be delighted to visit and walk through the admissions process with you—in-person or virtually!
