Director of Student Services (MAC Center)

The Dunham School is a PK-12, non-denominational Christian, independent school serving 820 students on one campus. For 15 years, the school has provided extensive student support for grades K-12 for students who have a variety of learning challenges. The school offers fee paid tutoring, coaching, small group instruction and individual courses for students with a range of learning challenges including ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia and high functioning autism. The McKay Academic Center for Excellence (MAC) operates as a support structure to the traditional college preparatory program and is available to students in all divisions. Upper School Spanish Instructor

The Dunham School is currently accepting applications for a full-time, Upper School Spanish Instructor for the 2023-2034 school year.  The position includes teaching responsibilities in Spanish II, Spanish III Honors, and AP Spanish.  Applicants should have teaching experience, a desire to work in a semi to fully-immersive classroom environment, and teach with an emphasis on inspiring students in appreciation and acquisition of the Spanish language and cultures. The integration of faith and learning is a key component of each Dunham classroom. A master's degree and teaching experience in independent schools is preferred. Choral Music Director

The Dunham School is currently accepting applications for a full-time choral music director for the 2023-2024 school year. Applicants should have teaching experience and a desire to teach with an emphasis on inspiring students in Middle and Upper School. The integration of faith and learning is a key component of each Dunham classroom. Candidates should expect to serve as a role model to students, mature in their professional growth and Christian faith. McKay Academic Center Opportunities

The Dunham School offers fee paid tutoring, coaching, small group instruction and individual courses for students with a range of learning challenges, including ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and high functioning autism through the McKay Academic Center for Excellence (MAC). The MAC operates as a support structure to the traditional college preparatory program and is available to students in all divisions. The MAC is seeking candidates for the following positions:

  • Lower School part-time tutors/teachers (math, reading, English areas)
  • Middle School full-time compensation teacher. 5th/6th grades (math/science, primarily) *
  • Upper School full-time lead compensation teacher (English/history primarily) *
  • Middle School/Upper School part-time tutors
  • Paraprofessionals

*Candidates with a Master's Degree in Special Education or a Bachelor's Degree in regular/special education will be considered for the full-time teaching positions.
