Tigers Receive Postseason All-Metro Honors

Tigers representing all four fall sports have earned All-Metro recognition for excellence and effort on the field, on the court, on the course and in the pool during regular and postseason play. Congratulations to these stellar athletes for these well-deserved honors:

Hannah Pixley '20
Taylor Hurst '20

All-Metro Volleyball (Division III, IV & V): Hannah Pixley ‘20, Outstanding Player

Hannah made the All-Metro first team for a third time and finished her career with 1,336 kills and 1,432 digs, bothThe Dunham School records. The 5-foot-7 outside hitter had 330 kills, 401 digs, 15 blocks and 52 aces and helped lead the 34-7 Tigers into the Division IV quarterfinals.

All-Metro Volleyball (Division III, IV & V): Taylor Hurst ‘20

Taylor, a two-time All-Metro pick,  posted 273 digs and 95 aces. She has 641 career assists and 917 career digs.

John Walker McDonald '22

All-Metro Football (Classes 3A, 2A & 1A): Rhett Guidry ‘20

A two-way player for the Tigers, Rhett had 49/5 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, seven quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles.


All-Metro Cross Country (Boys): John Walker McDonald ‘22

John Walker was ranked among the area’s top runners all year and excelled with second-place finishes at Metro and Class 2A races.


Patrick Murphy '22

All-Metro Swimming (Boys): Patrick Murphy ’22

Patrick finished first in the 200m Individual Medley and 2nd in the 100m breaststroke in the Division IV State Meet; runner-up in the 100 m breaststroke in the CCSL meet.
