Congratulations to Tiger history buffs Willie Leggett ’20 and Jason Pere ’22 who represented Dunham at the Louisiana History Bee held recently. Based on their high level individual performances at the state bee, both students qualified for the National History Bee to be held in Arlington,Virginia in April 2020.

Willie placed 4th in the state for the Varsity History Bee competition and also qualified for nationals in the US History competition. Jason earned 3rd place in the state in the Junior Varsity History Bee competition.

Both Wille and Jason are members of the Dunham Quiz Bowl team. Their success in the state History Bee competition reflects the teaching they have received through their history and social studies classes through their years at Dunham.
