Nicole Cotten Callac '08 Creates Original Artwork for In Register's "Women With A Cause" Issue

December 4, 2020

Congratulations to US art teacher and Dunham alum Nicole Cotten Callac '08 who put paintbrush to paper to create the colorful original artwork that graces the cover of In Register's "Women With A Cause" (December 2020) issue.

In Register writes: "To illustrate the cover of this special issue. we turned to local artist and art teacher Nicole Cotten Callac. Known for her colorful and powerful portraits for women, Callac drew inspiration from her own AP art class students at The Dunham School to help her solidify the cover concept. Callac built upon the teens’ ideas of what it means to be a woman with a cause as she applied layers of acrylic paint in stunning vivid hues to form two faces looking to the future.”

Dunham is blessed to have such a confident, talented and creative woman, artist, teacher and role model interacting with our students every day.
