Lady Tigers Win 2017 Sportsmanship Award

October 16, 2017

The Dunham School is proud to announce that our Lady Tigers volleyball team has received the 2017 LHSAA Division V Sportsmanship Award from the Capital City Board of Volleyball Officials (CCBVO).

The Lady Tigers, along with Head Coach Donna Pixley, Assistant Coach Nicole Callac, and Assistant Coach Brent Shelton, will be honored by CCBVO prior to the Oct. 24 home match against U High.

Dunham is one of five division winners chosen by CCBVO, one of the largest volleyball associations in the state servicing 49 area schools. The team now enters the competition for the overall state winner to be announced by LHSAA at the All-Star game in November.

LHSAA introduced the Sportsmanship Award in 2014 to recognize exemplary sportsmanship on and off the court by players, coaches, and managers, as well as cheerleaders, school administrators, parents, and fans at all home and away games during the season.

Congratulations to Coach Pixley, Coach Callac, Coach Shelton, and the entire Lady Tigers team for this well deserved honor.

We can't wait to welcome you!
