From Advocate writer William Weathers:
The Dunham School’s football coach Neil Weiner had one bit of advice to those attending Friday’s showdown for the District 7-2A championship featuring his Tigers and visiting Episcopal.
“It should be a packed house,” Weiner said. “I hope people are planning to get here early.”
There are several layers adding plenty of intrigue to the encounter between longtime rivals when Episcopal (8-1, 5-0) meets No. 9 Dunham (7-1, 5-0) at 7 p.m.
Not only will the outright title be up for grabs but also a boost in power ratings. Dunham could move into the top three in the Division III select bracket and Episcopal secure a home game.
