"Dunk to Defeat ALS" Basketball Game Raises Awareness, Funds for ALS

January 22, 2018

Thank you, Dunham community, for the fantastic turnout for the recent "Dunk To Defeat ALS" basketball benefit. Through your generous support, "Dunk to Defeat ALS"  raised $2,463 for the ALS Association, which will help to raise awareness and advance the fight for a cure to this devastating disease that has personally touched families we love in our school and in our Baton Rouge community. Along with representatives from the ALS Association, we were honored to have at the game as special guests WAFB anchor Donna Britt, the Green family, the Elofson family and our beloved Mr. Skip and his family — each a reminder, not only of the toll exacted by ALS every day that goes by without a cure, but also of the courage required to live the daily battle with the disease.

We can't wait to welcome you!
