¡Felicidades¡ (Congratulations) to the six Dunham Spanish Club students who participated in the recent State Spanish Convention in Baton Rouge. Students created a beautiful banner for the convention's theme "Descubre la Diferencia" (Discover the Difference), while also incorporating the country of Panama.
During convention, the students participated in competitions and various cultural activities including making bracelets and miniature piñatas, decorating cookies, and dancing in a salsa-themed Zumba class.
Our creative writing team of Sydney Boudreaux '22, Taylor Fitch '22 and Devyani Vij '22 won 1st place. Sydney Boudreaux also received 1st place in the written test, and Kennedy Morgan '22 received 2nd place for oral communication in Spanish III.
