Dunham Senior Named National Hispanic Scholar

January 10, 2017

Dunham is pleased to announce that the College Board has named Jessica Pastor '17 a National Hispanic Scholar based on her junior year PSAT score.

The National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) identifies academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students. Each year, the NHRP honors approximately 5,000 of the highest-scoring students from over 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT®

Jessica, the daughter of Tony Pastor and Stephanie Pastor, also received national academic distinctions as a National Merit Commended student and an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction earlier this year.  Jessica hopes to pursue  biology or other science-related degree on her way to a career in the medical field.

“We are very proud of Jessica and her achievements. Jessica has worked extremely hard and we are thrilled to see her diligence and determination rewarded. We have every confidence that she will continue to excel as she graduates and goes on to college,” said Head of School Steve Eagleton.

We can't wait to welcome you!
