Some of our budding Dunham builders brought their creativity and imagination to the "If Kids Can Build the City" event, sponsored by AIA Baton Rouge & CSRS, on Saturday, February 8 at the Capitol Museum.
This interactive experience encouraged students to build a small scale version of their ideal city. Our pint-sized builders were introduced to building, received a permit and selected a site to build.
"It was so exciting and fun to see our Dunham students use engineering skills learned in Innovation Lab," said Director of Innovation and Technology Nikole Blanchard. "Many began by sketching their idea which is key to the engineering cycle. From water slides to frog hotels, imagination and creativity filled in the air!!"
