The talented artist behind “Fais Do Do,” the vintage illustration that graces the cover of the September issue of Country Roads Magazine, is graphic designer and Dunham alum Aline Moreaux ‘15.

Country Roads explains: “When the Louisiana Divisions of Administrative Law (DAL) challenged LSU School of Arts students to create poster art celebrating Louisiana culture in the style of the Works Progress Administration’s Federal Arts Project, graphic design major Aline Moreaux was quick to sign on.  A Baton Rouge native enthralled with Louisiana wildlife and cultural themes, Moreaux imagined a couple swaying to the Swamp Pop strains of a Louisiana Saturday Night. Her design was one of seven winners chosen to be displayed in the DAL’s courtrooms in downtown Baton Rouge.

Moreaux is a regular at Mid City Makers Market. See more of her work during the market’s next edition, which falls on September 21. Or visit alinemoreaux.com”
