The Dunham School is excited to announce the addition of Mr. Wes Theriot to the health and physical education department, where he will teach P.E. and assist in coaching multiple sports. Mr. Theriot began his new position at Dunham on Monday, December 2.

Mr. Theriot holds a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. He most recently served as athletic director, upper school administrator, head baseball coach, and assistant football coach at Central Private School. From 2007-2011, he covered the southeast territory for Beverly Hills Sports Council, one of the largest sports management companies in theU.S. He later served as business manager at Toxicological and Environmental Associates, Inc., for seven years before following his calling to teach and coach.

“Wes Theriot has long been held in the highest esteem among the baseball community,” says Dunham Director of Athletics Neil Weiner.“He has worked with major league baseball draft picks, the USA Baseball National Team, and, in his first year as a prep baseball head coach, led his team to the state finals. Adding him to our already stellar academic and athletic staff is very exciting.”
