The Dunham Class of 2026 graduated on Tuesday, May 19, at Healing Place Church. The members of this outstanding class gained acceptance to 108 colleges and universities across 43 states. Collectively, they have earned more than $23 million in scholarship offers with 85 percent of the class receiving a merit-based award.

The evening began with an invocation by Class Vice President Stella Turner and a welcome by Class President Neil Singh, followed by valedictorian and salutatorian recognition.

Class of 2026 Valedictorian

Aiden Fee has been a student at The Dunham School for 14 years. During his high school career, he has taken 15 Advanced Placement courses and 12 Honors courses. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society member, he has earned recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Scholar, and U.S. Presidential Scholar candidate.

He completes his high school academic career with an extraordinary 4.57 cumulative grade point average, a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, and more than $11,600,000 in scholarship offers. He will attend Carnegie Mellon University where he plans to pursue a degree in computational biology and biological chemistry. 

An accomplished musician and thespian, Aiden also received the Artes Domini Gloriae Award (Arts for the Glory of God) awarded at graduation to the senior who possesses superior artistry and has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the arts while maintaining strength of character and integrity.

Class of 2026 Salutatorian

Londyn Thibodeaux has been a student at Dunham for 13 years. An AP Scholar with Honor, she has taken 15 Advanced Placement classes and eight honors classes and completes her high school career with a remarkable 4.43 cumulative GPA.

Londyn is a member of the National Honor Society, the Institute of Leadership, and Mu Alpha Theta. In addition to her academic accomplishments, she has served as co-captain of the powerlifting team and has a passion for community service. Not only has she encouraged literacy by donating books to local libraries, but she has also raised funds to purchase supplies for domestic violence shelters in the Baton Rouge area. Londyn will attend UCLA where she plans to pursue a degree in molecular biology.

In addition to valedictorian and salutatorian honors, the following awards were announced at graduation:

Camille Istre
Crimson and Silver Award

The Crimson and Silver Award, the highest honor possible, is given to the senior who has exemplifies the love of Christ with both peers and faculty and whose life has clearly reflected a desire to honor God and acknowledge Him in all his or her ways.

Anna McIlwain
Katharine O. Dunham Award

Established in memory of Katharine Dunham, this award recognizes the senior whose conduct and character best exemplify the school’s Honor Code by demonstrating a strong sense of personal honor and integrity in his or her daily life.

Lucy Courter
Servant’s Heart Award

The Servant’s Heart Award honors the senior whose high school career has displayed an attitude of serving others by performing selfless acts of willing and cheerful service at school, at church, and in the greater community. 

Trevor Haman
Hall of Fame Award

The Hall of Fame Award is presented to the senior who has brought the greatest positive community recognition to the school during his or her high school athletic career.
