2026 Distinguished Award Recipients Honored at founders Dinner

The Dunham School honored 2026 distinguished award recipients Chereé and Danny Brown, Brandi Faulk, and Edmond Davis ’99 at the Founders Dinner on Saturday, April 25. The evening also paid tribute to 2026 Liz Peters Master Teacher Sandra Serio as well as the school’s founders, volunteers, milestone donors, and current and former board members, including Brian Dantin ’96, Carli Nesheiwat, Sophia Riley, and Board Chair Blair Gremillion, who will retire from the board in June.

The Founders Dinner is an annual event designed to celebrate God’s faithfulness and express gratitude to members of the Dunham community for their service, generosity, and dedication to the school’s mission.

Chereé and Danny Brown

OptimizedImage,,,OptimizedSince joining the Dunham community in the 1990s, Chereé and Danny Brown have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the school’s mission through service, community engagement, and philanthropy.

Echoing the interests of their children, Haleigh and Brycen ’18, the Brown’s early areas of involvement included athletics, academics, and the arts. Whether it was through Pawbackers, Partners in the Arts, annual giving, or capital campaigns, Danny and Chereé were always willing to meet any needs brought to their attention.

Understanding the critical need for campus improvements and program enhancements, the Browns were generous supporters of the Cord of Three Strands Campaign. The success of that campaign helped transform the school’s academic, arts, and athletic programs, ultimately creating more opportunities for students and expanding Dunham’s footprint in the larger community.

Perhaps the greatest testament to the couple’s support is their naming of the Brown-Holt Chapel Arts Center, a showpiece that continues to serve as the heart of the Dunham campus. Home to beautiful fine arts and worship spaces, the building has been the setting for countless theater productions, chapel services, and special events like Grandparents Day and Veterans Chapel, and has even opened its doors as the foundational meeting space for two local churches. Within its walls, God is praised daily, and, most importantly, lives are dedicated to Christ.

Without the support, dedication, and faith of Chereé and Brown, it is difficult to imagine what our campus would look like today. It is our honor and privilege to recognize them as the 2026 recipients of the Katharine O. Dunham Philanthropy Award.

The Katharine O. Dunham Philanthropy Award was established to recognize donors who have demonstrated, through direct financial support, outstanding charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles at The Dunham School. Motivated and dedicated to seeing The Dunham School succeed, they have championed fundraising for the school. Recipients exemplify the same heart of giving demonstrated by Mrs. Dunham, a heart of thoughtfulness and sacrifice grounded in a desire to see The Dunham School’s mission endure.

2026 Distinguished Alumnus Award
Edmond Davis ’99

OptimizedImage,,,OptimizedEdmond Davis ’99 credits "The Dunham Family" with playing a pivotal role in shaping his personal, professional, and philanthropic life. Through the welcoming homes of families like the Myers and others within the Dunham community, Edmond experienced firsthand what it looked like to live out the love of Christ in the daily rhythms of life. It was in those homes and those relationships that a foundational truth began to take root in him: that we are blessed to be a blessing. That truth was not just spoken. It was modeled.

The Dunham faculty who shaped him, including Kay Broussard, Gloria Green, Prudy Moreland, Ellen Frazier, Coach Steve Turner, Mike Jenkins, and J.P. Piper, left a lasting mark. Before Edmond fully understood who he was or what he was capable of, they did. They spoke life into his potential. They planted seeds of encouragement and saw in him what the Lord had already destined for him, even when Edmond himself could not yet see it. He recalls that Dunham was the first place he heard a teacher speak life over a student's future, and those words became anchors he would carry for decades.

He went on to play basketball at LSU as a walk-on before transferring to Wofford College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. His first role in healthcare brought him to Oklahoma, a temporary stop, or so he thought. Twenty years later, Oklahoma is still home. In 2025, Edmond was named chief commercial and strategy officer at RevelAi Health, a healthcare AI company that provides health systems with regulatory-informed digital infrastructure for value-based care outcomes.

For Edmond, success was never about the destination. It has always been about the journey of growing into the best version of himself and living a life anchored in his family's core values: faith, family, and legacy. As his professional life flourished, God placed a vision on his heart to help others do the same. In 2022, he published Activate Your Words: 10 Steps to Revitalize Your Life by Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, a practical guide built on the conviction that the words we speak daily have the power to awaken us to our true identity and the lives we are destined to live. Edmond is also the founder of AYW, a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating professional and personal growth in others.

Edmond resides in Edmond, Oklahoma, with his wife, Kayce, and their four joys, Makayla, Makenzie, Mariah, and Malachi. It is our honor to recognize him as our 2026 Distinguished Alumnus for his professional success in the healthcare industry and his service to others.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes a graduate who has made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments, affiliations, and careers have honored the mission and legacy of The Dunham School.

2026 Tabb Family Distinguished Service Award
Brandi Faulk

OptimizedImage,,,OptimizedFor more than a decade, Brandi Faulk has modeled what it means to be a true servant leader. When Brandi and her husband, Sheldon, chose Dunham for their son, Julian ’24, they knew they wanted to be actively involved in the life of the school. Brandi honored that charge immediately, bringing her unparalleled organizational talents and vibrant energy to her volunteer efforts.

Through the years, Brandi served on numerous volunteer committees, most notably Pawbackers and Parent Ambassadors. On Pawbackers, Brandi took the initiative to transform the concession stands, implementing a unified, streamlined process that remains the foundation of our current structure. While supporting the admissions office as a parent ambassador, she was a devoted champion of The Dunham School, directly influencing the enrollment of new families with her genuine love for the community.

Through the gift of her time and talent to Jubilee, Pawbackers, DPA, Parent Ambassadors, Carnival, and much more, Brandi’s service has been constant, joyful, and transformative. We are honored to present her with the 2026 Tabb Family Distinguished Service Award.

The Tabb Family Distinguished Service Award recognizes and celebrates an outstanding volunteer who has gone above and beyond by using his or her time and talents to better The Dunham School. So many volunteers have made such an amazing impact on our community but perhaps none more so than Mary and Donald Tabb. Without their influence, prayers, sacrifice, and determination, The Dunham School would not be here today.
