What begins as creative movement and drama in Lower School evolves into formal theatre classes in Middle and Upper School. Speech and drama are part of the fine arts rotation in Middle School. Upper School thespians refine their acting, directing, and design skills through advanced theatre courses that involve reading of dramatic literature, completing character analyses, and writing, staging, and performing dramatic scenes. In addition to classroom experiences, students have opportunities to audition for the annual musical and plays, as well as assist as part of the technical and backstage crew.
