The Dunham School is an independent, inter-denominational, Christian, college-preparatory, coeducational day school founded in 1981. From its inception, the school has demonstrated its commitment to the "education of the mind and the heart."
The Dunham School serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & School and the State Department of Education of Louisiana. Member of the National Association of Independent Schools, Education Records Bureau, Southern Association for Colleges Admisision Counseling and National Association of Colleges Admission Counseling.
The campus is located on 23 acres in a residential area in South Baton Rouge. The school has 92 classrooms, five science labs, two library and five computer labs, dining hall, three art and music studios, a gymnasium, three athletic fields, an Athletic Center, and a new Lower School Building.
