The following web sites are valuable resources to both parents and teachers. While there are thousands of sources on the web, these have proven to be some of those which provide well reasoned and well researched information.
Center for Development and Learning (http://www.cdl.org/) The Center is a regional resource for both the diagnosis and treatment of learning differences. The location in Covington, Louisiana, allows for ready availability for student services and teacher training, a strong component of the Center’s work. Short articles on many topics of interest to parents are available.
Great School (http://www.greatschools.net/) The Great School site was born out of the Charles Schwaab web site for learning differences. Many great articles with advice for parents and more.
Gifted (http://www.gifted/. Uconn.edu) The University of Connecticut is one of the leading universities for gifted education. Their website is good for general information and summer programs for students.
Gifted (http://www.nsgt.org/) Another standard reference for all things gifted.
